Quite a lot of people nowadays like the idea of having a photographer on hand when they organise a party. ( Some people also think its not the best idea in the world. It depends what kind of party its going to be ). I've done enormous office christmas parties, rather smaller, more intimate do's, corporate bashes and award ceremonies where the idea is to park the guest speakers in front of the sponsor's logo for press releases; whatever the event, the method is always the same ; don't get underfoot and get the job done with minimal fuss.
